கடந்த ஆண்டு வெளியாகி விமர்சன ரீதியாகவும், வணிக ரீதியாகவும் OTT மற்றும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெற்றி பெற்ற திரைப்படங்கள் ‘யாத்திசை’ மற்றும் யோகி பாபு நடித்த ‘லக்கிமேன்’ ஆகும்.

பண்டைய தமிழர்களின் பெருமையை பண்பாடு மாறாமல் சொன்ன ‘யாத்திசை’ படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளர் வீனஸ் இன்ஃபோடைன்மென்ட் கே ஜெ கணேஷும், நல்லதொரு கருத்தை நகைச்சுவையோடு படைத்த ‘லக்கிமேன்’ படத்தின் இயக்குநர் பாலாஜி வேணுகோபாலும் புதிய திரைப்படத்திற்காக இணைந்துள்ளனர்.

இன்னும் பெயரிடப்படாத இப்படத்தில் விஜய் டிவி மற்றும் அமேசான் பிரைம் வெப்செரிஸ் ‘வதந்தி’ மூலம் புகழ் பெற்ற குமரன் தங்கராஜன் வெள்ளித்திரை நாயகனாக அறிமுகம் ஆகிறார். குமரவேல், ஜி எம் குமார், லிவிங்ஸ்டன், பால சரவணன், வினோத் சாகர் மற்றும் பலர் முக்கிய வேடங்களில் நடிக்கின்றனர்.

இந்த படத்திற்கு அச்சு ராஜாமணி இசையமைக்க, ஜெகதீஷ் ஒளிப்பதிவு செய்ய, மதன் படத்தொகுப்பை கவனிக்கிறார். வாசு கலை இயக்கத்தை கையாளுகிறார். ஆறு முதல் 60 வயது வரை அனைத்து வயதினரும், அனைத்து தரப்பினரும் கண்டு, ரசித்து, சிரித்து மகிழும் வகையில் இப்படம் உருவாகி வருகிறது.

*’Yaathisai’ producer Venus Infotainment K.J. Ganesh and ‘Lucky Man’ director-cum-actor Balaji Venugopal join forces for a new film that marks Vijay TV fame Kumaran Thangarajan’s debut as protagonist on silver screen*

Last year’s critically and commercially successful films in theatres and Tamil OTT spaces were ‘Yaathisai’ and Yogi Babu-starrer ‘Lucky Man’ .

Venus Infotainment’s K.J. Ganesh, the producer of ‘Yaathisai’, a film that narrated the pride of ancient Tamils with all its nativity, and Balaji Venugopal, the director of ‘Lucky Man’, a movie that conveyed a good message with humour, have teamed up for a new film.

The yet-to-be-titled movie with a never-before story features Kumaran Thangarajan, famous for his appearance on Vijay TV and critically acclaimed webseries ‘Vadhandhi’ on Amazon Prime, making his debut as a lead actor in cinema alongside Kumaravel, G.M. Kumar, Balasaravanan, Livingston ,Vinod Sagar and much more talents playing pivotal characters.

The film boasts an impressive technical team: Achu Rajamani is composing the music, Jagadeesh is handling the cinematography, Madhan is taking care of the editing and Vasu on production design.

Aimed at entertaining audiences qualitatively, across all age groups, the film’s shoot is nearing completion and will soon be ready for release. Further details, including the movie’s title, will be officially announced shortly.
