Actor Vasanth Ravi lead role of the upcoming psychological horror thriller ‘ASVINS.’

Actor Vasanth Ravi, a versatile actor known for his exceptional performances in Taramani (2017) & Rocky (2021) , is set to star in the lead role of the upcoming psychological horror thriller ‘ASVINS.’

Tarun Teja, a filmmaker and screenwriter, has dual bases in Chennai, India, and Wolfsburg, Germany. He has gained acclaim for his thought-provoking short films, some of which have received international recognition at various European International Film Festivals and Independent Film Community in Europe. Tarun is now set to make his directorial debut with ‘Asvins,’ which is based on his 20-minute pilot film that stunned the critics and audiences. The movie is a psychological-horror that revolves around a group of YouTubers who unwittingly fall victim to a 1500-year-old curse that unleashes evil from darkness into the human world. The movie is produced by BVSN Prasad of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra (SVCC), presented by Bapineedu B, and co-produced by Praveen Daniel.

The upcoming film features a talented ensemble cast that includes Vimala Raman, Muralidaran (known for his role in “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect”), Saras Menon, Udhaya Deep (a National Award-winning actor for “Nila Kalam”), and Simran Pareek in pivotal roles. The music is being composed by Vijay Siddharth, the cinematography is being handled by Edwin Sakay, and Venkat Raajen is overseeing the editing work.
